Swimburger.net is a technical blog operated by Niels Swimberghe. This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the site and which service providers are involved.
Information processed when you visit
The site does not offer user accounts, comments, contact forms, or newsletters, and it does not ask visitors to submit personal information.
Swimburger.net is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Like other web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare processes request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses, request headers, requested URLs, timestamps, and security signals.
Web analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and real-world website performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors’ personal data and does not track individual visitors across websites.
Swimburger.net does not use Google Analytics.
Advertising
Blog articles may display ads supplied by EthicalAds. EthicalAds uses the page’s subject and approximate country-level location to select relevant ads rather than building behavioral profiles. Its servers receive ordinary request information when an ad is requested. EthicalAds describes its collection, retention, and privacy practices in its own privacy policy.
Embedded and external content
Some articles contain embedded videos from YouTube, posts from X, or interactive examples. Those resources are loaded only on pages where they appear. When your browser loads or interacts with an embed, the provider receives ordinary request information and may use cookies or other storage according to its own policies and your account settings.
Links to other websites do not send those sites information until you choose to follow the link. Their privacy practices are outside Swimburger.net’s control.
Cookies
Swimburger.net does not use cookies for accounts, preferences, comments, or Google Analytics. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security and network services, and embedded third-party content may use cookies under the provider’s policy.
